Our volunteers can help you explore your ancestors. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced researcher, Genealogy Club offers opportunities to learn and share skills.
Genealogy Club includes presentations, discussions and sharing of tools and tips. Beginners are welcome and all are encouraged to ask and share.
Common topics of discussion include:
DNA sampling for research
Research trips to cemeteries and repositories
Learning through conferences, webinars, podcasts, guided research trips
Photo scanning, archiving and sharing
Preservation of artifacts and family history items
Genealogy club is held the second Wednesday of the month from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. All sessions are free for 125 LIVE social members. Non-members will need to register at Membership Services on arrival and purchase a guest pass.
