VITA is sponsored by 125LIVE and provides quality, free tax preparation services to low-to-moderate-income individuals and families at multiple sites in SE Minnesota. 125 LIVE is one of the sites!
We can help:
- Individuals and families with incomes of less than $85,000 a year
- The elderly and those with disabilities
- People facing language barriers
Interested in Volunteering?
We need preparers and greeters to work at 6 different sites and 14 senior residential sites. Training is provided in December-January and tax sessions start in February. You can volunteer to provide tax assistance at 125 LIVE!
You do not need to be a trained accountant to help. However, it would be best if you were interested in learning new things. Learning about our tax system is interesting and you will work with great volunteers.
